Email Marketing That Stays Out of the Spam Folder

Getting an email delivered matters more than designing it. Mailbox providers judge your sending history, and a few bad habits can damage it for months.

Start with consent

Only email people who have agreed to hear from you, and record when and how they agreed. Keep consent and unsubscribes on the customer record so they can never be lost in a spreadsheet.

Respect limits

  • Do not send the same campaign to the same person twice.
  • Cap how many emails one person receives per day and per week across all campaigns.
  • Grow volume gradually when you start sending from a new domain.

Handle bounces and complaints automatically

A hard bounce means the address does not work. A spam complaint means the person does not want your email. Suppress both immediately and permanently. Repeated soft bounces should be treated as dead addresses too.

Watch the health of your sending

Bounce and complaint rates over a short window tell you early when something is wrong. A good system pauses sending when rates cross a safe limit, so one bad list cannot damage the whole domain.

Set up your domain properly

  • SPF and DKIM records for your sending domain.
  • A DMARC record, starting in monitoring mode.
  • A reply-to address that a person actually reads.

NiyuSuite builds these protections into campaigns and workflows. See NiyuSuite Marketing and the Mailchimp alternative page.
